Babur (1526-1530)

About Mughals: The Mughal  dynasty dominated much of India from 1525 to 1857, although from 1707 onwards, it had very little power. At its peak, it was on e of the most brilliant empires in the world. The Mughals were excellent administrators and established some organizational structures that are still in use today, 300 years later. Their other main interests were art, architecture, music and literature, although they tended to neglect technology and science. As a result, India, in spite of its great resources, fell further and further behind the west in this area and for long remained in a king of Medieval world.
Babur (1526-1530)
The Mughal dynasty was founded by Babur, who was a descendant of both Chinghez and Timur. He claimed that northern India really belonged to him because Timur had conquered it over a hundred years earlier.
